Terms of service

The Terms Of Service shall apply to all items purchased from AZOTEA STudio. By purchasing with AZOTEA Studio, you are agreeing to the following terms of service.


HOLDS:

AZOTEA Studio does not place items on hold longer than 24 hours without full payment. From the date a hold is initiated, the client has 24 hours before the item(s) is placed back into our inventory.

DELIVERY/SHIPPING:

All items should be opened and inspected by the Buyer within 24 hours of receiving a shipment/Delivery. Any lost packages and/or damages due to shipping are not the responsibility of AZOTEA Studio though can be reported to AZOTEA Studio within 48 hours after a shipment is delivered to help facilitate a courier claim.

Cost of delivery/shipping is not included in the listing price of an item. If the buyer does not wish to use the quote that is provided by AZOTEA Studio, it is the responsibility of the Buyer to make all the necessary arrangements for the shipment of their purchase.

If AZOTEA Studio is unable to deliver your purchase because of actions or circumstances under the control of the Buyer and/or out of the control of AZOTEA Studio, then AZOTEA Studio shall be entitled to place the goods in storage until a delivery or pick up is arranged. Buyer shall be liable for any expense(s) associated with such storage.

SHIPPING TIMELINES:

Each item is unique in size, weight and delivery timelines. We also consider shipping timelines by distance from our studio HQ in Tacubaya, Mexico City, Mexico. 

Our by AZOTEA Studio pieces are custom and can vary in shipping dates after the piece is complete. We will contact you within 48hrs after your order is processed via Shopify to supply you with lead times and additional details. Please keep in mind that made to order items can take 4-8 weeks to complete. 

SHIPPING WITHIN MEXICO CITY:

Any orders delivered within Mexico City, Mexico ship free.

SHIPPING WITHIN MEXICO:

AZOTEA Studio provides calculated shipping rates based on the unique characteristics of your item. The shipping fee is based on distance, weight and dimensions of your item(s). 

SHIPPING TO THE USA/REST OF THE WORLD:

AZOTEA Studio provides calculated shipping rates based on the unique characteristics of your item. The shipping fee is based on taxes + duties, distance, weight and dimensions of your item(s).

PICK-UP:

Buyers who choose to pick up their items from AZOTEA Studio must do so within one week of purchase. After one week, a storage fee of $30 USD/day will apply before items are released to the buyer.

When/if purchases are not picked up or shipping is not arranged within a month, it will be considered abandoned property and donated unless otherwise arranged by the buyer.

Q: How fast will I receive my item?

A: That depends on the type of item you purchase, fabrication and shipping location. If you purchase a 'Ready to Ship' item, please allow use 72 hrs to process your shipment. 


Q: How much will I be charged for delivery?

A: This varies depending on the size, weight and destination of your chosen AZOTEA items. You'll see the delivery fee at the checkout or receive a quote by contacting us at hola@azoteastudio.mx


Q: How will my order be packaged?

A: This varies on on the size, weight, sensitivity and assembly of your item.

 

Q: Where does my item ship from?

A: Directly from our showroom in Tacubaya, Mexico City, Mexico.


Q: How much will I be charged for delivery?

A: This varies depending on the size, weight and destination of your chosen items. 


Q: When will I receive my item and how can I track delivery? 

A: Once your order is confirmed, we'll send it within 3-5 business days if it is not a custom order. Custom orders can take 2-4 weeks to be shipped out. Depending on your location and selected delivery method, delivery can take 7-10 business days. If you ordered from multiple AZOTEA pieces, your items could arrive separately. We'll email you with the tracking information and an estimated delivery date when each item is sent.


RETURNS/STORE CREDIT:

The AZOTEA Studio does not offer returns. All furniture, objects, vintage and/or made to order items are FINAL SALE. Unless otherwise recognized as damaged, then we will be in contact with you to find a solution. 

Q: I changed my mind, is my item returnable?

A: AZOTEA does not offer returns. All furniture, objects, vintage and/or made to order items are FINAL SALE.


PRE-ORDERS

Q: What does pre-order mean? 

A: You can get early access to next season's most wanted pieces before they're released.

Q: When will my pre-order item arrive? 

A: As soon as your item has been released/designed and is ready to be sent, you'll receive an email with the estimated delivery date.

Q:When do I have to pay?

A: Pre-order items require full payment at checkout.

Q: Can I cancel a pre-order?

A: AZOTEA does not offer cancellations. All furniture, objects and/or made to order items are FINAL SALE.

Q: Can I change my delivery address?

A: Yes, by contacting us directly at azoteamex@gmail.com. Keep in mind that you may not be able to if your item has already been shipped.


HOW TO SHOP AND PLACE AN ORDER

Q: Do I need an account to place an order?

A: No, all you need is an email address to place and track orders.

Q: I've forgotten my password, what should I do?

A: Follow the forgot your password link on our ‘Sign In’ page and enter your email address. You’ll then receive an email to reset your password.

Q: How do I receive AZOTEA email updates?

A: Stay informed of new arrivals, collection drops and exclusive promotions by entering your email address at the bottom of our homepage. You can manage your email preferences in your account.

Q: Can I reserve an item to buy later?

A: We aim to provide a fair opportunity to shop our most in-demand styles and as items are often limited, we don't offer reservations. If we make an acception you have 24hrs to make the full payment or deposit with our team.

Q: Do you take custom orders?

A:Yes we take custom orders by request for large scale projects such as hospitality projects and personal orders. 

 

AZOTEA PAYMENTS

Q: Which currencies can I shop in? 

A: This is determined by your delivery destination and will be displayed at checkout before placing your order. If your local currency is unavailable, your order will be charged in MXN peso for a competitive exchange rate.

Q: When will my card be charged? 

A: If you pay by credit/debit card, or bank transfer AZOTEA Studio will take payment when you place your order.

Q: Which payment methods do you accept?

A: AZOTEA Studio accepts credit card, check, wire transfer, or cash as payment for a purchase. Payments are non-refundable once a transaction is complete.

Q: Will my personal details stay safe?
